When to walk away

Recognizing the issues that are bigger than any negotiation can fix.

Some findings (major foundation problems, extensive water damage, systemic mold, or a price tag for repairs that erases your equity before you've even moved in) are signs to seriously reconsider, no matter how much you love the home. Walking away from a deal you've put time and emotion into is hard. Walking into a money pit is harder. Trust the numbers and the professionals over the attachment.
