The final walkthrough is your last chance to confirm the home is in the condition you agreed to before you sign anything. Bring this checklist with you and don't rush it. Once you close, fixing a missed issue becomes your problem, not the seller's.
Checklist
- Confirm any agreed-upon repairs were completed
- Test all major appliances, faucets, and outlets
- Check that included items (fixtures, appliances) are still there
- Make sure the home is in roughly the same condition as your last visit
- Run the heat or AC to confirm it's working
